Practice Info

We offer general pediatrics services, as all pediatricians do, with additional optional our unique integrative pediatrics services. We can be your chid's primary care provider or accept your physician's referral as the integrative pediatric care specialist for your child.

For General Pediatrics services: We accept major insurance plans according to your plan coverage.  We can be your 'out of network' provider if your insurance is not on our list.

For Integrative Pediatrics services: This is an optional, add-on service to your well or sick visit, regardless if we are your primary care provider (PCP).   We do not accept insurance for this service and you will be billed separately if you elect this option at the time of making your appointment. If you fail to mention this option, your child will be seen and managed under general pediatrics guidelines.

We strongly encourage you to choose this option for your child's care, especially for well visits, for the benefit of your child.

If we are the referred provider

If you have your own PCP who refers you to our integrative pediatric care, your child's immunization will be done by your PCP and we will need to have that record on file. You will be billed for the sick visit plus integrative care charges.  Your well visits should be done by your PCP.

After Hours

If you have a true emergency, please call 911 immediately.

If you have an emergency and need to speak to our physician during after hours (M-F after 5p, Sat, Sun), please call our office number 713.777.2100, indicating you are our Rice Village Penn Integrative Pediatrics patient, our on-call physician for the day will call you back to address your concerns.  Please note that we do not have access to your chart and we cannot call for medicine refills in after hours.  Please also see Sick Visits

We think vaccinations are extremely important and beneficial for the well-being of the child.  We recommend all children to receive their vaccinations according to American Academy of Pediatrics schedule guidelines. We do not accept the patient whose parents refuse to vaccinate their child.  Please see Immunizations
